- Develop a relationship with members of the media and how to turn that into valuable publicity for your practice
- React properly when the media calls you and what questions to ask before the interview
- Anticipate the questions you will receive and how to craft your answers
- Develop message points from these answers and how to bridge to positive points

About the Presenter:
Charlie Powell is the Senior Public Information Officer for Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine (26 years) and was concurrently for 20 years the Public Information Director for the Washington State Veterinary Medical Association. His specialties include crisis and risk communications as well as media relations and instructional promotion.
