Patrick Vall, DVM, AVDC is a born and raised Buckeye from Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Franciscan University for his bachelor’s degree prior to earning his veterinary degree from The Ohio State University in 1992. Dr. Vall spent the first 17 years of his career in general practice and has owned and operated clinics in Maryland and Colorado. While in general practice he enjoyed developing his skills in dentistry, internal medicine, anesthesia and pain management.

Dr. Vall worked as an emergency veterinarian for two years at the Veterinary Specialty Center in Colorado Springs prior to accepting a dental residency position with Dr. Woodward and continuing on to become a board certified veterinary dentist.

Dr. Vall and his wife stay  busy raising their four children, two cats and one dog. Other than dentistry and oral surgery, he loves hiking and climbing in the mountains of Colorado and has summited over 40 of Colorado’s 14,000 foot peaks.

MJ Redman, DVM, AVDC is a board-certified veterinary dental specialist at MissionVet Specialty & Emergency and is the only one in the San Antonio area.  Prior to joining Mission Vet in 2014, Dr. Redman owned Pacific Animal Dentistry, a mobile veterinary dentistry practice based near Seattle where she provided dental services on a referral basis to local small animal hospitals.  She then spent three years working in a practice limited to dentistry and oral surgery at the Animal Dental Center located in Maryland, a busy 3-doctor practice focusing solely on dental procedures including complex oral surgery.

Dr. Redman has extensive experience treating a variety of oral pathologies including periodontal disease, fractured teeth and jaws, malocclusions, stomatitis, masticatory myositis, gingival hyperplasia, cleft palates and oral neoplasia.
